Las Colinas Golf & Country Club sits among the hills of the Dehesa de Campoamor on the Mediterranean coast south of Alicante. It is a 330-hectare valley facing the sea — a natural enclave that has been carefully respected and preserved, with more than 200,000 m² of natural space and homes placed into the landscape rather than on top of it.

The heart of the valley is its championship golf course. Around it sit the Club House and its restaurants, a sports and health club, a racquet club, waymarked trails through the pine forest, and the resort's own beach club down on the coast at Campoamor. The resort describes itself through four things: nature, sport, gastronomy and the sea.

Housing is organised into named communities — Lima, Mimosa, Limonero, Orquídea and others — and the density is deliberately low. Costa Blanca Selected markets individual villas and villa collections inside the resort; the properties listed further down this page are the ones currently available.

The 18-hole, par-71 course was designed by the American architect Cabell B. Robinson and is managed by Troon Golf. It runs through the valley past lakes, strategically placed bunkers, wide fairways and gentle slopes. The World Golf Awards has named it the best golf course in Spain on five occasions.

It is not an easy course. Off the white tees the slope rating is 140 with a course rating of 73.8; off the yellows 138 / 72.1 and off the blues 123 / 66.9. The course has modern drainage and automated irrigation, and is grassed with Bermuda TifSport, chosen because it needs less water and tolerates salinity.

On the practice side there is a 5,000 m² short game area designed by Miguel Ángel Jiménez, a driving range fitted with Toptracer, putting and approach greens, and the golf academy. Las Colinas hosted the European Tour's Pre-Qualifying Stage 2 from 2011 to 2019 and again in 2021.

The Club House is a large Mediterranean-style building a few steps from the 1st and 10th tees and the 9th and 18th greens. It holds the restaurants and the golf shop. Facilities are open to residents, and the resort's own owner material lists discounts on the Golf & Country Club, the Sports & Health Club and WOW Beach.

The resort runs an ESG plan for 2024–2028 covering environmental protection, community, staff, and ethics and compliance. The buggy fleet is 100% electric, lighting is LED with presence detection, and solar panels power the maintenance facilities and water pumping.

There is an on-site wastewater treatment plant whose output is reused for irrigation, and centralised irrigation control with automated pH monitoring. More than 200,000 m² of protected natural area is maintained and native species are prioritised in the landscaping. The resort is the first certified “Brain-protected Space” in Spain.
